What is Error Correction Level?
Error correction allows a QR code to remain scannable even if part of it is damaged or covered (e.g., by a logo). Higher levels (H) recover more data but make the QR code denser.
What's the difference between Static and Dynamic QR codes?
Static QR codes embed data directly — once printed, they can't be changed. Dynamic QR codes use a redirect URL, so you can change the destination without reprinting. We currently generate static codes.
Which download format should I choose?
Use SVG for print (infinitely scalable), PNG for web/digital use, JPG for email compatibility, and WebP for modern web with smaller file sizes.
Is my data stored on your servers?
No. All QR code generation happens entirely in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit your data.
What is the maximum amount of data a QR code can hold?
A QR code can store up to 2,953 bytes of data (at error correction level L). For practical use, keep URLs and text under 500 characters for best scanning reliability.
Can I create a QR code for Wi-Fi?
Yes! Enter your network name (SSID), password, and encryption type. When someone scans this QR code, their phone will offer to connect to your Wi-Fi automatically.
Why won't my QR code scan?
Ensure there's enough contrast between the foreground and background colors. Also check that the Quiet Zone (margin) is not set to zero, and that a large logo isn't covering too much of the code.
